With 23 years of International design/build experience delivering high-end residential, hospitality and commercial interior design projects across three markets: Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the USA.
In Ireland, over many years, Mackay has brought all of her international experience in design/build/sourcing/energy efficiency to a market she knows intimately: the realities of planning, the contractor landscape, real budgets, and what genuinely works in a home or hospitality space.
In St Helier, Jersey in the Channel Islands, Mackay designed for high-net-worth client's bespoke residential and commercial projects, along with retail clients, by developing a specialist fluency in unique product sourcing with her WildAtlantique.com brand. Through vendor curation and product creation for clients who wanted the rare and distinctive.
Living, working and studying design for many years in New York, Connecticut, Florida — in some of the most demanding luxury residential and commercial markets on the US East Coast. She worked to high standards of interior design, real estate investing/consultation (formerly LEED certified) focusing on project management precision, from quality of finish to offering an attentive client service.
Alongside her Interior Design and PM practice, she founded Wildatlantique.com in 2015 — a curated coastal lifestyle brand sourcing unique, sustainable, affordable-luxury pieces for clients who want something not readily found in the open market. That sourcing discipline is built into every project she takes on. Always pursuing the latest in new product offerings in finishes, materials and furniture, along with sourcing unique vintage pieces. Planning, sourcing and finally staging spaces for clients, while utilizing her real estate consultation experience to give clients the best metrics for investing, renovating and budgeting.
