Rowayton, CT USA - Purchased a dated cottage in the charming New York bedroom community of Rowayton. The property had been a rental for many years. The exterior was dated and had a good deal of rot and characterless brick. Painting all, replacing rotted window sills and shingles, refacing the brick chimney and foundation with river rock, cleaning up the landscaping and giving the whole property an infusion of 'Carmel Cottage' chic with stone paths, plantings and willow bent fencing to bring it back to life.        ...
